1938 Bromley Atlas - Boston Proper
This hand-colored folio-size atlas was published in 1938 by George and Walter Bromley in Philadelphia. It contains 36 lithographed plates of downton Boston (including the Back Bay, Bay Village, Beacon Hill, Downtown, North End, and South End among others), as well as a street index and an index map. The Boston Redevelopment Authority makes the map data available online through The Boston Atlas.
