This three-story multi-family house was built in 1926. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows the Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company as the owner of the empty lot where this house was built. In 1930 this house was owned by Frederick Harrington, a 39-year old Board of Health inspector. Frederick lived with his 39-year old wife Catherine; their 5-year old son Frederick Junior; and Anna Mickesiran, a 16-year old maid. Part of this house was rented for $45 a month to Phillip Ton, a 49-year old auto mechanic from Maine. Phillip lived with his 47-year old wife Annie (born in Northern Ireland) and their four children: 22-year old Mary, a stenographer for an advertising company; 18-year old Ethel, a clerk for an electrical company; 15-year old Phillip; and 14-year old Edmund. The building was valued at $18,000. | ||
