This house was built sometime before 1916.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows the heirs of Charles Tillinghast as the owners of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists Harriet Conrad, the widow of Rufus Conrad; Myrtle Conrad, a nurse; Abel Jewett, a rug maker; and Algernon Jewett, a salesman, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Grace Jewett as the owner of this wood frame house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Alemon Jewett, a 58-year old piano salesman from Maine. Alemon lived with his 48-year old wife Grace (born in Maine). The building was valued at $22,000.
