The 1924 City Directory lists Adelaide Young as a resident of 120 Washington.

The 1925 City Directory lists Frederick Briggs, an undertaker and secretary of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Embalming; Mrs. Adelaide Young; and Clayton Young, an editor for the Associated Press, as residents of 120 Washington. Edward Sheehan, a physician, is listed as a resident of 122 Washington.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows F.L. Briggs as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Frederick Brigg, a 70-year old undertaker. Frederick lived in 120 Washington with his 74-year old sister Inez. 122 Washington was rented for $65 a month by Harry Pront, a 67-year old retiree from England. Harry lived with his 59-year old wife Mabel (born in Maine); 32-year old daughter Helen, a clerk in a restaurant; and 24-year old son Carlyle, a bank clerk. The building was valued at $15,000.
