Louis lived with his 39-year old Turkish wife Emma; 63-year old mother Hursy Farbir (born in Bulgaria); 30-year old sister Amada Farbir, an X-ray technician at Beth Israel Hospital; and 39-year old sister Blanc Farbir, a registered nurse. The rent was $80 a month.
- Mitch Groberg, a 26-year old insurance agent. He lived with his 25-year old wife Rose and their 1-year old son Arthur. The rent was $62.50 a month.
- Amsi Ruel, a 48-year old electrician from Vermont. He lived with his 46-year old German wife Emma and paid $50 a month in rent.
- Hannah Goldberg, a 50-year old widow. Hannah lived with her 28-year old son Edward, a factory supervisor; 26-year old daughter Frances, a typist in an office; 25-year old daughter Esther, a stenographer; 15-year old granddaughter Ruth Nedell; and 11-year old grandson Hisston Nedell.
