The 1925 City Directory lists William Smith, a service man, as a resident of 19 Union. Edward Daley is listed as a resident of 21 Union. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows J.T. Burns as the owner of this house. In 1930 part of this house was rented for $30 a month by William Sunith, a clerk for a gas company. William lived in 19 Union with his 40-year old wife Roxanne and their four children: 14-year old Rose; 13-year old daughter Peta; 10-year old Lorraine; and 5-year old William. 21 Union was rented for $22 a month by John Kelly, a 49-year old taxi agent. John lived with his 42-year old Irish wife Katherine and their five sons: 14-year old John; 12-year old Robert; 11-year old Stephen; 9-year old Francis; and 5-year old Paul. |
