This brick multi-family house was built in 1915 and rises two stories to a slate roof.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Beatrice Hicks as the owner of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists Norman Tourtellotte, an auto mechanic, as a resident of 71 Turner. John Burke, a porter; Julia Walsh, a housekeeper; and Richard Walsh, a laborer, are listed as residents of 73 Turner.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows J.J. Walker as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by 56-year old Jula Walsh. Julia lived in 73 Turner with her 43-year old sister Annie, a saleswoman in a department store; 42-year old sister Mary, a saleswoman in a candy store; 54-year old brother Richard; and 56-year old Irish uncle John Burke, a garage worker in a bakery's garage. 71 Turner was rented for $45 a month by Walter Stedtman, a 42-year old insurance agent. Walter lived with his 42-year old wife Mary and their two children: 10-year old Doris and 6-year old Walter Junior. The building was valued at $10,000.
