This three-story multi-family house was built in 1925.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows John Greenwood as the owner of the empty lot where this house was built.

The 1925 City Directory lists George Harrington, a buyer; and Willis Levis, an artist, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Charles Lawson as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by William Elwood, a 35-year old laborer from Ireland. William lived with his 34-year old Irish wife Nora and their three children: 4-year old Anna, 4-year old William, and 1-year old Eleanor. Part of this house was rented for $40 a month by Richard Telesky, a 52-year old iron worker from Russia. Richard lived with his 52-year old Russian wife Josephine and their two children: 28-year old Freddie, a commercial artist; and 12-year old Vera. Another part of this house was rented for $40 a month by Edward Corliss, a 34-year old Boston fireman. Edward lived with his 31-year old wife Mary and their two children: 5-year old Edward Junior and 3-year old Jean. The building was valued at $9,000.
