In 1930 part of this house was rented for $58 a month by Jason Whitney, a 47-year old service station manager from Vermont. Jason lived in 38 Turner with his 47-year old wife Anna and his 83-year old mother-in-law Catherine Wiemer (born in Germany). 40 Turner was rented for $47 a month by Ciriacos Houboulis, a 43-year old candy store employee from Greece. Ciriacos lived with his 29-year old Turkish wife Gladys and their two children: 7-year old Frank and 5-year old Margery.
