In 1930 this house was owned by Michael Lucy, a 50-year old laborer from Ireland. Michael lived with his 26-year old sister-in-law Sarah Nutlen, a housekeeper from Ireland, and his five sons: 16-year old John, 14-year old Joseph, 12-year old Robert, 9-year old Francis, and 4-year old Thomas. Part of this house was rented for $40 a month by Margaret Burnett, a 63-year old widow. Margaret lived with her 56-year old sister-in-law Elizabeth Burnett (born in Rhode Island), a clerk in a variety store; and 59-year old sister Abbie Crowe, a clerk in a variety store. Another part of this house was rented for $40 a month by Wilbert Hall, a 58-year old hotel clerk from Canada. Wilbert lived with his 45-year old Canadian wife Marie, a waitress for a college, and his 25-year old step-daughter Dorothy Griswold, a cashier in a restaurant. The building was valued at $12,000.
