The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows T.T. and N. Murphy as the owners of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists James Cook, a foreman; Joseph McGaffigan; and Timothy Murphy, a waiter, as residents of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Timothy Murphy, a 47-year old realtor from Ireland. Timothy lived with his 50-year old Irish wife Nora; 16-year old daughter Margaret; 13-year old boarder Nora Carroll; and 29-year old nephew Daniel O'Keefe, a taxi driver from Ireland. Part of this house was rented for $40 a month by James Lennon, a 50-year old from Ireland who worked as an engineer in hospital. James lived with his 46-year old Irish wife Mary and his 25-year old brother-in-law James Foley, a hospital orderly from Ireland. Another part of this house was rented for $55 a month by Patrick Sullivan, a 65-year old from Ireland who worked as a gardener for a country club. Patrick lived with his 64-year old Irish wife Ellen. The building was valued at $12,000.
