This multi-family house was built in 1910 and rises two stories to a slate roof.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Emma Murphy as the owner of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists William Durland, a partner in the Brighton Bakery Company, as a resident of 18 Turner. James Murphy, a sergeant in the Boston Police Department, is listed as a resident of 20 Turner.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows James and E.L. Murphy as the owners of this house.

In 1930 part of this house was rented for $60 a month by Ernest Fehonstom, a 35-year old salesman for a rubber company. Ernest lived in 18 Turner with his 35-year old wife Mary.
