In 1930 part of this house was rented for $45 a month by Helen Dutton, a 59-year old widow. Helen lived with her 26-year old son Warren, a driver for the US Post Office; 7-year old granddaughter Ruth; and 39-year old daughter Sadie Hadley, a private nurse. Another part of this house was rented for $42 a month by George Fogg, an 80-year old tea importer. George lived with his 75-year old wife Priscilla. Another part of this house was rented for $42 a month by Margaret Grady, a 50-year old divorcee who worked as a saleswoman in a department store. Margaret lived with her 53-year old brother John Sullivan, an electrician for a theater; and 41-year old cousin Catherine Sullivan, a clerk for Western Union.
