The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows M. Carr, et al, as the owners of several wood frame buildings that occupied this lot.

The 1926 City Directory lists Thomas Brady, a conductor for the Boston Elevated Railroad, as a resident of 84 Tremont.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Samuel Seager as the owner of several small wood frame structures on the lot this house was built on.
