This brick house was built in 1924 and rises two stories to an asphalt shingle roof. The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Livingston Cushing as the owner of the empty lot where this house was built. The 1924 City Directory lists George Alberty, a manager, as a resident of this house. The 1925 City Directory lists Walter London, a buyer, as a resident of this house. In 1925 this house was owned by J.F. Murphy according to the 1925 Bromley Atlas. In 1930 this house was owned by Martin Sea, a 34-year old lawyer. Martin lived with his 30-year old wife Eulalia (born in Maine) and their two daughters: 2-year old Margaret and infant Marie. Part of this house was rented for $50 a month by William Meakin, a 60-year old gardener from England. William lived with his 59-year old wife Margaret. The building was valued at $12,000. |
