This brick multi-family house was built around 1925 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Fred Thayer as the owner of the empty lot where this house was built.

In 1930 this house was owned by Thomas Athy, a 42-year old garage foreman from Ireland. Thomas lived in 9 Perthshire with his 43-year old Irish wife Della; 29-year old brother Michael, an odd-jobs laborer; 15-year old daughter Margaret; 12-year old daughter Agnes; and 9-year old daughter Mary. 11 Perthshire was rented for $45 a month by Daniel O'Keefe, a 31-year old automobile spring salesman. Daniel lived with his 30-year old wife Florence and their three children: 4-year old Rosamund, 3-year old Irene, and infant Leo. The building was valued at $7,500.
