In 1930 part of this house was rented for $55 a month by Jean Ferrini, a 29-year old insurance agent from Italy. Jean lived in 81 Perthshire with his 27-year old Italian wife Florence. 83 Perthshire was rented for $60 a month by Otis Chadwell, a 38-year old from Ohio who worked as an electrical supplies salesman. Otis lived with his 33-year old wife Mildred and their two children: 15-year old Thomas and 2-year old Avis.
