In 1930 this house was owned by Anastasia Moran, a 76-year old widow from Ireland. Anastasia lived in 65 Perthshire with her four children: 46-year old Dave, a suede importer; 43-year old Thomas, a clerk for a textile company; 41-year old Michael, a book finisher for a bindery; and 37-year old Ellen. 63 Perthshire was rented for $60 a month by Joseph Devaney, a 32-year old sales promoter for an advertising company. Joseph lived with his 32-year old wife Madeline and their 5-year old daughter Margaret. The building was valued at $14,000.
