This brick multi-family house was built around 1930 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Robert Jones as the owner of the empty lot where this house was built.

In 1930 this house was owned by Thomas McElroy, a 38-year old auto mechanic from Northern Ireland. Thomas lived in 98 Parsons with his 46-year old wife Rose (born in Northern Ireland) and their 6-year old daughter Mary. 96 Parsons was rented for $50 a month by 55-year old Louise Elston. Louise lived with her 48-year old sister Mabel, a bookkeeper for a rubber manufacturer. The building was valued at $11,000.
