This Queen Anne house was built in 1886 and rises two stories to a slate roof. The 1925 City Directory lists Kate Wood, the widow of John Wood; Katherine Wood, a teacher at the Bennett School; and Lillian Wood as residents of this house. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Lillian Woods as the owner of this house. In 1930 this house was owned by 48-year old Lillian Woods. Lillian lived wih her 52-year old sister Kathryn, a public school teacher; and her 23-year old Irish maid Celia Daly. The building was valued at $8,000. |
