The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows G.E. Derby as the owner of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists Joseph Murphy, a chauffeur; and M.A. Murphy, the widow of Michael Murphy, as residents of 231 Parsons. Edward Donahue, a grocer, is listed as a resident of 233 Parsons.

In 1930 this house was owned by Edward O'Brien, a 47-year old variety store employee. Edward lived in 233 Parsons with his 47-year old wife Isabella (born in Northern Ireland) and 27-year old nephew Sylvester Malone, a bookkeeper. Part of 235 Parsons was rented for $40 a month by Glish Sarthelie, a 38-year old chef from Greece. He lived with his 38-year old wife Eleanor (born in Washington DC), a rubber worker. Another part of 235 Parsons was rented for $30 a month by William Hezlitt, a 70-year old shipper for a yeast company. William lived with his 67-year old wife Emily. The building was valued at $11,000.
