The 1925 City Directory lists Dominick Doherty, a helper at the Chestnut Hill Pumping Station, as a resident of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Domomisk Doherty, a 48-year old from Ireland who worked as a laborer for the state. He lived with his 53-year old Irish wife Nora and their seven children: 22-year old Mary, an auditor for a milk company; 18-year old Voronicka, a clerk in a clothing store; 16-year old John; 14-year old son Columbkille; 13-year old Rita; 11-year old Gabriella; and 8-year old Domomisk. The building was valued at $8,000.
