In 1930 this house was owned by John Kelly, a 45-year old from Northern Ireland who worked as a fireman in a power house. John lived with his 47-year old wife Catherine (born in Northern Ireland) and their 14-year old daughter Mary. Part of this house was rented for $45 a month by Thomas O'Brien, a 35-year old post office clerk. Thomas lived with his 35-year old wife Irene and their infant daughter Barbara. The building was valued at $10,000. |
