In 1930 this house was owned by Michael Wynne, a 61-year old from Ireland who worked as a manager for a rubber company. Michael lived with his 50-year old Irish wife Elizabeth and their three children: 26-year old Alexander, a hotel employee; 24-year old Margaret, a telephone operator; and 22-year old Elizabeth, a telephone operator. Part of this house was rented for $50 a month by Catherine Whalen, a 38-year old public school teacher from New Hampshire. Catherine lived with her 36-year old sister Anna, a private nurse; and 40-year old sister Mary Thoone. The building was valued at $12,000.
