This brick multi-family house was built in 1900 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1924 City Directory lists Viggo Anderson, a butcher, as a resident of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists Viggo Anderson, a butcher; and Margaret Smith, the widow of Frederick Smith, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Anna Anderson as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by William Murphy, a 65-year old from Ireland. William lived with his 55-year old wife Margaret (born in Wales); 19-year old daughter Frances; and 27-year old Nancy McDowell, a boarder from Canada who worked as a registered nurse. The building was valued at $8,500.
