This single-story brick Cape Cod house was built in 1925 and is enclosed by an asphalt roof. The 1925 City Directory lists Ralph Fernald, a machinist, as a resident of this house. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows D.G. and J.C. Dargan as the owners of the empty lot this house was built on. In 1930 this house was owned by Dennis Dargan, a 48-year old Post Office clerk from Ireland. Dennis lived with his 48-year old Irish wife Josephine and their three children: 18-year old Paul, 17-year old Charles, and 15-year old Eily. The building was valued at $10,000. |
