This brick multi-family house was built in 1900 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists James Brady, a laborer; and James Sullivan, a janitor, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows James Sullivan as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by James Sullivan, a 45-year old from Ireland who worked as a school janitor. James lived with his 45-year old Irish wife Mary and their four daughters: 23-year old Eileen, a secretary for a rubber company; 22-year old Mary, a social worker; 20-year old Loretta, a bookkeeper for a dental supply company; and 17-year old Elizabeth, a stenographer for an insurance company. Part of this house was rented for $35 a month by James Brady, an 86-year old from Ireland. James lived with his 46-year old divorced daughter Hannah. The building was valued at $5,000.
