This multi-family house was built in 1910 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Hugh F. Taylor, a student; and Hugh M. Taylor, an assistant chemist, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows H.M. and A.T. Taylor as the owners of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Hugh Taylor, a 59-year old produce salesman. Hugh lived with his 58-year old wife Annie and their four sons: 26-year old Hugh, a collector for a railroad; 24-year old Walter, an automobile instructor; 21-year old George; and 19-year old William. Part of this house was rented for $45 a month by James Sepper, a 62-year old from Canada who worked as a pressman in a laundry. James lived with his 52-year old Canadian wife Bessie, a tailor in a laundry; 32-year old son Philip, a gas station attendent; 22-year old daughter-in-law Helen, an ironer; 20-year old son James, a paint salesman; 9-year old granddaughter Ruth; and 19-year old daughter Jean. The building was valued at $6,500.
