This multi-family house was built in 1870 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof. A renovation was performed in 2001.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Mary Fettes as the owner of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists Thomas Adams, a molder, as a resident of 151 Nonantum.

In 1930 this house was owned by Mary Fettes, a 74-year old widow from Northern Ireland. Mary lived in 153 Nonantum with her 50-year old daughter Jeanette, a clerk for a book supply company. 151 Nonantum was rented for $30 a month by Thomas Adams, a 44-year old from Northern Ireland who worked as a metal worker for the US Drug Company. Thomas lived with his 35-year old wife Margaret and their two daughters: 4-year old Jean and 2-year old Aileen. The building was valued at $1,600.
