This Colonial Revival brick house was built in 1920 and rises two stories to an asphalt shingle roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Leon Hayes, a carpenter, as a resident of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Emma Pierce as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was rented for $20 a month by Leon Hayes, a 58-year old carpenter from Maine. Leon lived with his 57-year old wife Alice and their two children: 27-year old Marian, a high school teacher; and 11-year old Robert.
