The 1925 City Directory lists Mary Murphy, a teacher at the Abraham Lincoln School, as a resident of 56 Murdock. Katherine Chester and Bertha Meehan, a nurse, are listed as residents of 58 Murdock.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows William Taft as the owner of this house.
