This Colonial house was built around 1925 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof. The 1916 Bromley Atlas and 1925 Bromley Atlas show James Knowles as the owner of the empty lot this house was built on. In 1930 this house was owned by 45-year old David Hurley. David lived with his 72-year old aunt Mary McLaughlin and his four sisters: 43-year old Mary; 40-year old Anna, a telephone operator; 38-year old Margaret; and 36-year old Helen, a stenographer for the Registry of Deeds. The building was valued at $8,500. |
