The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Agnes Joyce as the owner of this house. The 1930 Census lists James Conway, a 53-year old handyman from Ireland, as the owner of this house. James lived with his 41-year old Irish wife Agnes. Part of this house was rented for $55 a month by Margaret Jacobs, a 71-year old widow from Canada. Margaret lived with her four children: 39-year old Rose, a stenographer for a leather company; 34-year old Margaret, a clerk; 31-year old William, a conductor for a street railway; and 28-year old George, a clerk for an electric company. The building was valued at $14,000. |
