The 1924 City Directory lists Cecil Ashworth, a machinist; and Ernest Ashworth, a steamfitter, as residents of 308 Faneuil. The 1925 City Directory lists Bessie Salter as a resident of 308 Faneuil. Merl Everett, a brakeman for the Boston & Albany Railroad; and James Wilson, a brakeman for the New York, New Hampshire, and Hartford Railroad, are listed as residents of 310 Faneuil. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows F.J. and H.E. Salter as the owners of this house. The 1930 Census lists 47-year old Elizabeth Salter as the owner of this house. Elizabeth lived in 310 Faneuil with her 43-year old sister Helen, a clerk in the Suffolk County Court House. Part of 310 Faneuil was rented for $45 a month by Thomas Martin, a 65-year old from Canada. Thomas lived with his two daughters: 31-year old Mildred, a secretary; and 30-year old Bernice, a cashier for an insurance company. 308 Faneuil was rented for $45 a month by Charles Bartlett, a 50-year old from Maine who worked as a janitor for a newspaper. Charles lived with his 51-year old Canadian wife Mamie and their two children: 17-year old Hazel and 11-year old Leslie. The building was valued at $6,500. |
