This house was built sometime before 1925. The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows William Ambler as the owner of the empty lot where this house was built. The 1925 City Directory lists Helen Morrisey, an assistant in the North End branch of the Boston Public Library; and Thomas Morrisey, a clerk, as residents of this house. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows T.J. and M.C. Morrisey as the owners of this house. In 1930 this house was owned by Thomas Morissey, a 54-year old clerk for Boston Electric Railway. Thomas lived with his 58-year old wife Margaret and their two children: 30-year old Helen, a librarian; and 23-year old Arthur. The building was valued at $7,000. |
