This multi-family house was built in 1925 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Ernest Ame and Albert Wiley, a watchman, as residents of 220 Faneuil.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Ernest Ame as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Ernest Ame, a 38-year old hotel chef from France. Ernest lived with his 38-year old French wife Philomena and their 14-year old daughter Alice. Part of this house was rented for $45 a month by Hubert Kramer, a 32-year old wood worker. Hubert lived with his 31-year old wife Florence. The building was valued at $9,000.
