This multi-family house was built around 1925 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Henrietta Baker, a tailor and the widow of Solomon Baker; Kalman Herwitz; and Lewis Martinson, a compositor, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows G.M. Martinson as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Louis Martinson, a 40-year old newspaper compositor from Russia. Louis lived with his 38-year old Russian wife Gertrude and their two sons: 17-year old Bertram and 15-year old Leslie. Part of this house was rented for $58 a month by Marion Cleary, a 38-year old service worker. Marion lived with her 38-year old sister Mildred, a public school teacher; and her 70-year old Canadian mother Mary. The building was valued at $16,000.
