This brick multi-family house was built in 1930 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof. A renovation was performed in 1971. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows the Federal Trust Company as the owner of the empty lot this house was built on. In 1930 this house was owned by Avared Slocum, a 34-year old ice dealer from Canada. Avared lived with his 29-year old wife Susie and their 6-year old son Laurence. Part of this house was rented for $42 a month by Frank Griffin, a 26-year old delivery truck driver. Frank lived with his 25-year old wife Mary. |
