This multi-family house was built in 1916 and rises three stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Charles Whitaker as the owner of the empty lot where this house was built.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Antonio DeLuca as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Tony DeLuca, a 49-year old florist from Italy. Tony lived in 169 Faneuil with his five children: 26-year old Peter, a florist; 24-year old Celia; 21-year old Mary, a bookkeeper in a florist's shop; 16-year old Sophia; and 14-year old Patrick. Part of this house was rented for $28 a month by Joseph DeLuca, a 30-year old florist. Joseph lived with his 28-year old Canadian wife Germaine and their 1-year old son Joseph. 167 Faneuil was rented for $50 a month by William Quinn, a 50-year old painter. William lived with his 47-year old Canadian wife Mary and their thirteen children: 28-year old William Junior, a truck driver; 26-year old Elizabeth, a book binder; 25-year old Edmond, a bakery salesman; 23-year old Mary, a telephone operator; 22-year old John, an automotive assembler; 19-year old Francis, a grocery salesman; 18-year old Margaret, a post card artist; 17-year old Joseph, an office boy; 14-year old Catherine; 11-year old Lucy; 10-year old Gerard; 7-year old Robert; ad 5-year old Donald.
