The 1925 City Directory lists Walter Crosby, a physician, as a resident of 85 Fairbanks. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows S.E. Crosby as the owner of this house. In 1930 this house was owned by Walter Crosby, a 45-year old general practice daughter. Walter lived with his 40-year old wife Elizabeth (born in Pennsylvania); 17-year old daughter Marion; 6-year old daughter Joanne; and 15-year old Consuelo Zamara, a maid. The building was valued at $10,000. |
