This brick multi-family house was built in 1890 and rises two stories to a slate roof. A renovation was performed in 1991.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Catherine Taylor as the owner of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists John Keane, a carpenter; Frank Pfeffer, a timekeeper; and Gertrude Pfeffer, the widow of S.A. Pfeffer, as residents of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by John Keane, a 68-year old carpenter from Ireland. John lived with his 69-year old Irish wife Delia and their two daughters: 31-year old Margaret, a clerk for an insurance company; and 35-year old Katherine, a secretary for Western Electric. Part of this house was rented for $45 a month by Cecil Ashworth, a 62-year old auto mechanic from England. Cecil lived with his 62-year old Irish wife Nora and their 26-year old daughter Mary. The building was valued at $7,000.
