The 1925 City Directory lists Patrick Cannon, a sanitary inspector; George Hamilton, a watchman; and John Hamilton, a chauffeur, as residents of this house.

The 1930 Census lists Patrick Cannon, a 59-year old health inspector for the City of Boston, as the owner of this house. Patrick lived with his 56-year old Irish wife Catherine; 21-year old daughter Catherine, a secretary; 20-year old son William; and 25-year old Catherine Regan, a boarder who worked as a secretary. Part of this house was rented for $45 a month by George Hamilton, a 66-year old janitor from Scotland. George lived with his 69-year old Scottish wife Wilhelmina; 41-year old daughter Jessie, a salesgirl in a bakery; and 75-year old Jessie McKinnon, a boarder from Scotland. The building was valued at $5,500.
