This brick multi-family house was built in 1890 and rises two stories to a slate roof.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Dorothy Mahoney as the owner of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists William Shea, a restaurant employee; and John Steele, a horseshoer, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows William and K.M. Shea as the owners of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by William Shea, a 49-year old lunch room proprietor from Ireland. William lived with his 51-year old Irish wife Katherine and their two children: 18-year old William and 16-year old Rosemary. Part of this house was rented for $40 a month by Wilbur Neely, a 37-year old street car operator from Canada. Wilbur lived with his 34-year old Canadian wife Wynona and their 5-year old daughter Marjorie. The building was valued at $10,000.
