In 1930 this house was owned by John Whitten, a 44-year old from Canada who worked as a department store salesman. John lived in 83 Dunboy with his 39-year old wife Alice and their three children: 16-year old Mary, 9-year old George, and 2-year old Alice. 85 Dunboy was rented for $50 a month by Elliot Wentworth, a 25-year old commercial salesman for a greeting card company. Elliot lived with his 26-year old wife Margaret. The building was valued at $12,500. |
