The 1925 City Directory lists Samuel Budgell, a salesman, as a resident of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Samuel Budgell, a 60-year old from England who worked as a salesman in a department store. Samuel lived with his 40-year old wife Lillian and their two sons: 11-year old Samuel and 8-year old Kenneth. The building was valued at $6,500.
