This brick multi-family house was built in 1900 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Charles Brown, a police officer; and Emma Murphy, the widow of Lorenzo Murphy, as residents of 46 Dighton. Donald Nicholson, a teamster; and William Nicholson, a laborer, are listed as residents of 48 Dighton.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Robert Frost, et al, Trustees, as the owners of 46 Dighton and David Seager as the owner of 48 Dighton.
