The 1924 City Directory lists Adelaide Isaacs, the widow of Maurice Isaacs, as a resident of 1697 Commonwealth.

The 1925 City Directory lists Samuel Cantor; Harold Hoffman; and James Walsh, investments, as residents of 1695 Commonwealth. Ferdinand Bieringer, an assistant treasurer; Leo Bieringer; Isaac Charak, a partner in the I Charak Company; Helene Freundlich, the widow of William Freundlich; Adelaide Isaacs, the widow of Maurice Isaacs; and Emanual Roos, a commercial traveler, are listed as residents of 1697 Commonwealth.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows L.B. Hoffman as the owner of this building.
