75-77 Claymoss Road is a two-family house that was designed by John Kelly and built in 1924 by William Ryan for N.M. Sheehan. This 2.5-story wood house rises 35 feet from a stone foundation to a pitched asphalt roof. The cost of construction was $15,000.

By the end of 1924 this house was owned by Mary O'Connell.

In 1924 a two-car concrete block garage was built with a hipped asphalt shingle roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Timothy O'Connell, a contractor and partner in William Barrett & Company, as a resident of 75 Claymoss. Matthew Cavanaugh, an assistant manager, is listed as a resident of 77 Claymoss.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows M.J. O'Connell as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Timothy O'Connell, a 49-year old contractor. Timothy lived with his 51-year old Irish wife Mary in 75 Claymoss. 77 Claymoss was rented for $70 a month by Nora Byrne, a 63-year old from Ireland. Nora lived with her 30-year old daughter Gertrude, a clerk for an insurance company; 24-year old son John, an auditor; 36-year old daughter Mary Burns; 36-year old son-in-law John Burns, a freight agent; and 4-year old granddaughter May. The building was valued at $20,000.
