The 1925 City Directory lists Isabelle Budd, a partner in the Women's Business Service; Hercules Geromanos, a chemical engineer; Marmaduke Pearson, a manager; Annie Ready, the widow of Patrick Ready; and Leo Ready, a salesman, as residents of this building. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows M.I. Gardiner and J.S. McLearn as the owners of this building. In 1930 part of this building was rented for $75 a month by 70-year old Mary Kelley. Mary lived with her 67-year old sister Catherine, a clerk at City Hall; and her 47-year old stepsister Emilie Dowd, a clerk for a probate court. Another part of this building was rented for $100 a month by Annie Ready, a 64-year old widow. Annie lived with her 36-year old daughter Mildred, a teacher. |
