This three-story brick multi-family house was built in 1920 and renovated in 2003.

The 1925 City Directory lists Joseph Matthews, a cook; Anthony Rados, a cook; and Arthur Ward as residents of 14 Chestnut Hill. Raymond Blue, a tire maker; Arghur Champain, a carpenter; and Daniel Gallagher, a chauffeur, are listed as residents of 16 Chestnut Hill.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows A. Rozen as the owner of this house.
